(Mar. 11, 2019) – US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment is pleased to announce that CEO Lisa Woll will speak at Institutional Investor's Wealth Management Impact Investing Forum in Boston at the Four Seasons Hotel March 19-20. Woll will present a session on Wednesday, March 20, “Keeping a Pulse on Policy: How Congress and the SEC are Affecting Impact Investors.”
Woll's presentation aims to clarify the role of public policy and help stakeholders better identify and support policies that may lead to more robust and effective impact investing markets.
Woll said “US SIF recognizes the profound impact that policymakers and regulators have on the environment in which sustainable investment occurs and on many of the issues sustainable investors care about. Engagement with policymakers is an important strategy used by US SIF to advance the field, including our inaugural Policy Leaders Program.”
