Regulation S-K Open Comment Period Closes

The Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) public comment period on amending Regulation S-K closes today.

Call for comments: In January, Chairman Paul Atkins solicited general feedback on ways the SEC could amend Regulation S-K, “with the goal of revising the requirements to focus on eliciting disclosure of material information and avoid compelling the disclosure of immaterial information.”

Holding the line: US SIF submitted a comment outlining investors' need for consistent, comparable, and comprehensive data from disclosures. Our comment outlines the span of investors in the US market who use and rely on ESG data.
