US SIF Names Jane Bulnes-Fowles Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer is a member of the senior management team, manages all operations staff, leads ongoing oversight and reporting against US SIF's strategic plan, and plays a key role in the day to day management of the organization.
 
WASHINGTON, D.C., May 5, 2020 –US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment announced today that Jane Bulnes-Fowles has joined its staff as Chief Operating Officer.
 
US SIF is the leading voice advancing sustainable and impact investing across all asset classes. The Chief Operating Officer is a member of the senior management team, manages all operations staff, leads ongoing oversight and reporting against US SIF's strategic plan, and plays a key role in the day to day management of the organization.
 
“In the midst of new challenges posed by COVID-19, we are particularly thrilled to welcome Jane to the US SIF team,” said Lisa Woll, CEO of US SIF and the US SIF Foundation. “She brings a passion for operational excellence. Her years as Operations Manager for Veris Wealth Partners, a long-time US SIF member, provides her with a keen understanding of sustainable and impact investing.” 
 
Prior to Veris Wealth Partners, Jane was Director of Learning Materials at Lean Enterprise Institute, a nonprofit organization that helps organizations learn and implement operational and management techniques to improve value and reduce waste. She has also worked with the Hult Prize, a social entrepreneurship accelerator dedicated to solving the world's pressing social issues by fostering the next generation of scalable start-ups for social good. Jane received a B.A. from Reed College and M.B.A. from Boston University, with a focus on public and nonprofit management and social entrepreneurship. She has advised socially-responsible startups and volunteered with arts organizations and animal rescues.
