WASHINGTON, D.C., April 04, 2023
US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment announced today the appointment of Rachel Curley as its new Director of Policy and Programs. In this role, Curley will help advance the organization's policy priorities and develop programming content on behalf of US SIF members.

“We're thrilled to welcome Rachel to the team,” said Bryan McGannon, Acting CEO of US SIF. “Rachel has significant organizing, coalition building and public policy experience. Rachel will help us continue to expand our policy capacity and influence at a time when sustainable investing is top of mind for many policymakers.” Curley succeeds McGannon, who was named Managing Director at the end of 2022. McGannon will remain involved in US SIF's policy initiatives.

Before joining US SIF, Curley worked as a democracy advocate for Public Citizen's Congress Watch division, where she supported Public Citizen's work on democracy and investor protection issues. Curley started her career as the program coordinator for Doctors for America (DFA), where she led the charge on several of DFA's major campaigns. Curley graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy.

“The opportunity to join US SIF at this pivotal time for the industry is exciting,” said Curley. “I look forward to collaborating with our members to share a compelling narrative and advance sustainable, responsible and impact investment with policymakers and regulators.”
