US SIF CEO Lisa Woll to Speak at SRI Conference on November 10, 2016

US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment at The SRI Conference
WASHINGTON, D.C., November 4, 2016 – US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment is pleased to participate in the 27th annual SRI Conference on Sustainable, Responsible and Impact (SRI) Investing in Denver, November 9-11, 2016.

The US SIF Foundation's Center for Sustainable Investment Education will provide a live training of the Fundamentals of Sustainable and Responsible Investment from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm MT on November 9th.  This is a special opportunity to gain a better understanding about the practice of sustainable, responsible and impact investing. Non-conference attendees may also register for the course.

US SIF will host a breakfast on Thursday, November 10 from 7:20-8:30 am MT at which Lisa Woll, US SIF CEO, and Paul Hilton, US SIF Board Chair, will share updates on current and future US SIF initiatives aimed to advance the sustainable, responsible, impact investment field.
 
During the breakfast, Woll will comment on preliminary findings from US SIF's upcoming Report On US Sustainable, Responsible and Impact Investing Trends, which will be released November 14, 2016. The US SIF biennial Trends Report is considered the benchmark study for responsible investors, providing comprehensive research quantifying the scope of and trends in sustainable and impact investing in the United States.
 
Also at the conference, Woll will speak on the plenary panel, The Post-Election Policy Environment: Challenges and Opportunities for Responsible Investors on November 10 from 9:10 am - 10:05 am MT. Woll will be joined by fellow panelists and US SIF members Joe Keefe, President and CEO of Pax World Management, and Bennett Freeman, Board Secretary of the Global Network Initiative (GNI). The panel will be moderated by Patsy Doerr, Global Head Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion at Thomson Reuters. The panel will address:
 
  • Priorities and opportunities with the new Administration and Congress
  • Assessing the ability to impact key issues like climate, financial regulation, advancing corporate responsibility and obtaining greater disclosure from the Securities and Exchange Commission on environmental, social and governance issues
  • Strategies for sustainable and impact investors to effectively engage in the policy process
