US SIF Proxy Proposal Archive

About the Archive
The Proxy Proposal Archive (formerly the Si2 Database) brings together 15 years of shareholder proposal data and analytical research reports, helping investors, advocates, and researchers better understand corporate engagement on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.
The Sustainable Investments Institute (Si2) was an independent, trusted resource that tracked how shareholders engaged with companies—and how those companies responded. Now integrated into the US SIF website, the archive preserves the full history of Si2 proxy season data while making it easier to explore, filter, and analyze.

What you’ll find in the Proxy Proposal Archive
The archive contains over 7,200 shareholder proposals and related analysis, covering proxy seasons from 2010 to 2024. It provides detailed insight into the issues raised, the organizations behind them and the outcomes achieved.

Across the database, you can explore:
Shareholder proposals organized by topic, issue and outcome
Individual action pages detailing proposal language, sponsors and outcomes
Proponent information, including institutional investors, faith-based groups and advocacy organizations
Supporting documents including where available resolution-specific analysis (on voted resolutions), topic briefing papers and SEC correspondence where available
Report Archive

Comprehensive briefing papers providing in-depth analysis of key issues, trends, and developments, supported by expert insight and research. These are complemented by pre-season analysis exploring expectations and emerging themes, and post-season reviews assessing outcomes, performance, and wider implications.
