US SIF brings together every link in the sustainable investing value chain. We believe that lasting change in capital markets requires everyone at the table. Our members span asset owners and asset managers, financial advisors and broker-dealers, community development financial institutions, research and data providers, and the professional service firms, including legal, consulting, and beyond.
This full-chain approach is what sets US SIF apart. Asset owners bring capital and mandates; managers translate those mandates into portfolios; advisors connect strategies to individual investors; researchers supply the data and analysis that make informed decisions possible; and service providers link the system actors together. By convening these perspectives under one roof, US SIF fosters the collaboration, standard-setting, and policy advocacy needed catalyze sustainable investment.

Offering education and training through online and in-person courses for financial professionals and retail investors. We also offer, in collaboration with the College for Financial Planning, the only professional services designation for sustainable investing in the United States.
Networking
Providing opportunities for the sustainable and impact investing community to convene at our annual national conference and at local events.
Media
Increasing public awareness of the demand for sustainable investing through engagement with and education of the media and through speaking at key investor events.

Our policy program works to advance a regulatory agenda that maintains and enhances the sustainable and impact investment field.

In our new series, we talk to the leaders making an outsized impact within sustainable investing. Our 200+ members represent trillions in assets under management or advisement and include actors across the entire capital markets value chain committed to creating more sustainable markets. Hear directly from our members as they share their innovations, successes, and stories of impact!
Committees
Committees enhance the programmatic work of our organizations and provide valuable member and industry benefits. Committees are comprised of member experts. Participation in committees must be approved by US SIF staff.
Members of this committee help organize US SIF's annual conference, including conference theme, plenary and breakout topics, and speaker selection. Committee members are expected to "champion" at least one breakout panel discussion by developing the description of session, inviting panelists and moderators for that session and convening a planning call for the panelists and moderator a few weeks before the conference date.
