PARTICIPATE: Illinois Workforce Disclosure Bill Hearing

The Illinois House Labor & Commerce Committee is holding a hearing this week on the Workforce Investment and Sustainable Employment Reporting (WISER) Act.

The bill: The Illinois General Assembly and state Senate have both introduced the WISER Act earlier this year. The bill would require companies that do business in the state to report data on human capital management metrics. This strategy mirrors California’s climate risk disclosure laws.

Show your support: Witness slips are an impactful way to show public support for the WISER Act. Members of the committee take these slips into serious consideration before voting on the legislation. View current witness slips here.
