UPCOMING HEARING: House Financial Services Committee & SEC Oversight

The House of Representatives’ Financial Services Committee has a scheduled hearing on Tuesday December 2, 2025 at 10am, titled “Oversight of Prudential Regulators.”

Insight: We expect SEC Chair Paul Atkins to be one of the regulators questioned during this upcoming hearing.

To note: Ranking Chair of the Financial Services Committee, Maxine Waters, recently criticized Chair Atkins’ move to disenfranchise shareholders through its new policy of not reviewing no-action proposals. US SIF and other peer organizations also sent a letter to Chair Atkins highlighting our concern.
