WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 1 - The US SIF Foundation is slated to release its 2018 biennial Report on US Sustainable, Responsible and Impact Investing Trends on October 31. A media briefing will be held that afternoon in New York. The Trends Report—first conducted in 1995—is the most comprehensive study of sustainable, responsible and impact (SRI) investing in the United States. The report provides data on the US asset management firms and institutional asset owners using one or more sustainable investment strategies and examines the environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues they consider in managing their portfolios.
The 2016 Trends Report revealed a 33 percent increase in sustainable investing assets since 2014, with total SRI assets expanding to $8.72 trillion—more than one in five dollars under professional management in the United States.
