US SIF Foundation to Release 2012 Report on Sustainable and Responsible Investing Trends in the United States


Report Measures Growth of Sustainable Investing Strategies in the United States; Looks at Impact of Corporate Political Contributions for the First Time  

WASHINGTON--US SIF Foundation, the public education and research arm of US SIF, the national nonprofit membership association for the sustainable and responsible investment industry, will release its2012 Report on Sustainable and Responsible Investing Trends in the United States to the media on a conference call on November 14, 2012.

 

The ‘Trends Report' is the definitive overview of the institutions, organizations and money managers that consider environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria to generate long-term competitive financial returns and positive societal impact and will cover the growth of SRI assets under management since the 2010 report. For the first time ever, the report tracks the impact and influence of investment policies concerning corporate political contributions.


For the report, US SIF contacted more than 500 investment management and advisory firms, and more than 1,000 public plan sponsors, foundations, educational endowments, faith-based institutions and other institutional asset owners.
