The Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSRIC™) professional designation is a groundbreaking certification in the fast-growing field of sustainable, responsible and impact investing (SRI). The self-paced course for the designation is now available for enrollment.
|The program was developed in collaboration with industry-group leader US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment. It provides a blend of foundational knowledge and scenario learning to work with sustainable, responsible, and impact (SRI) investments for a variety of clients. The CSRIC™ program provides financial advisors and investment professionals with information about of the history, definitions, trends, portfolio construction principles, fiduciary responsibilities, and best practices for sustainable, responsible, and impact (SRI) investments.
The College’s professional designation programs all feature open enrollment. You can enroll and begin whenever you like. While the College also offers periodic live classes, these are completely optional and are available to all students at no additional charge.
When you enroll, you will receive immediate access to the College’s exclusive online student portal. Within this portal you will find copies of your written study materials, streaming video lectures, downloadable MP3’s, interactive quizzes, and even access to live classes when they are in session. You will also be able to contact your professor with questions or issues. All of these things are included with your enrollment and the College for Financial Planning prides itself on not charging for additional 3rd party books, online functionality, access to professors, et cetera.
Students must successfully pass the course’s single final examination within one year of their enrollment date. Final exams can be administered at our approved testing centers: PSI, Prometric, or ISO Quality Testing. The first examination is included as part of your enrollment. Subsequent examination attempts are $100 each.
Graduates may receive up to 28 CFP® CE credits, up to 45 state insurance CE credits, and 45 credits towards the College’s professional designation CE requirements.
The CSRIC™ Professional Education Program is a 3-semester credit graduate level course. Students should expect to spend approximately 90-135 hours in course-related activities in order to study and prepare adequately for the course examination. This total may vary depending upon your current level of mastery with regard to the subject matter, the learning objectives, and how quickly you learn new material.
