Business Development Junior Associate
Terra Alpha Investments is a growing sustainable investment management firm based in Washington, DC. We allocate capital to publicly traded companies that are leading the transition to a sustainable economy. As a successful public equities manager, we seek to generate superior financial returns for our investors and better environmental outcomes for all.
We are looking to add a bright, creative, enthusiastic, and coachable young professional to our team in order to support our continued growth. The position will report to our Director of Business Development and will be expected to collaborate directly with all members of the team. The role will entail supporting all aspects of business development and investor relations, particularly our communication efforts.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong writing skills (including business writing) and bring a positive attitude and proactive approach to their work. Previous financial experience is not required so long as the candidate is eager to educate themselves on sustainable business practices and investment management.
The best applicant will be a creative, diligent self-starter who can balance working well with others while managing certain responsibilities autonomously. Demonstrated interest in sustainability preferred.
